This simple guide is designed to help you decide how to switch a TV set in your home. Every TV you want to continue watching after switchover will need to be converted.

1. You need to know if you are digital already

If you have more than 5 channels on your TV set it is likely to be digital already. If you have satellite or cable for all your TV’s you are not affected by switchover.

2. You need to find out when you switch to digital

3. You will need to decide which digital service you want to convert your TV with. The options will vary depending on where you live.

Use our postcode checker to find out which options are available where you live.

4. If you choose to receive your digital TV service through your aerial from Freeview, BT Vision or TopUp TV, then you need to consider your aerial.

90-95% of aerials will be fine for switchover.

5. If you need more information search our FAQ’s above or call us on 08456 50 50 50
