The STV North TV region switches to digital TV in 2010
Switchover will start in the STV North TV region in 2010.
If you live in this region, you need to make sure every TV set in your home is ready for switchover. We will let you know the exact date nearer to your switchover and will send you further information well in advance to help you get ready for switchover.
If you are thinking about upgrading your TV or recording equipment now, make sure you buy one with the digital (tick) logo.
If you live on the edge of the core TV region (shown in dark pink on the map) you may be part of an adjacent region's switchover. This map is indicative because broadcast signals do not have precise boundaries.
