Aerials, group changes

At Redruth, all multiplexes remain within analogue aerial group - group B.

At Bossiney and Perranporth, all three multiplexes will be outside the analogue aerial group C/D.  Replacement group B antennas may be required, although most existing aerials should perform satisfactorily as the new channels are lower in frequency.

At all other relay sites, at switchover, all multiplexes will be within the analogue aerial group.

Aerials, communal systems

Channel changes at Bosastle, Bossiney, Gulval, Perranporth, Praa Sands, St Austell and St Just will mean that channelised communal systems will need to be reconfigured at DSO1 and DSO2.

Channel changes at Redruth mean that channelised communal systems will need to be reconfigured on the 30th of September 2009 due to the later technical event (H9).

Adjacent transmitter groups

A household in west Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly is most likely to be watching the Redruth transmitter group. However, they could also be watching the Caradon Hill or Stockland Hill transmitter groups.
