Storeton (Wales) is a new relay which launched at DSO1, providing Welsh services into Deeside for those who previously had to watch Winter Hill. Storeton (Wales) is in line with Winter Hill so viewers can recieve 9 muxes using their existing aerial pointed at Winter Hill.
As a result, households in this area will recieve 3 PSB Granada muxes (from Winter Hill), 3 PSB Welsh muxes (from Storeton Wales) and the 3 COM muxes (from Winter Hill).
At Moel y Parc, all PSB multiplexes moved into the analogue aerial group B. At the later technical event, the commercial multiplexes also move into the analogue aerial group.
At Cefn Mawr, all multiplexes will be outside the analogue aerial group B. Replacement group C/D antennas may be required to ensure reliable reception.
At all relay sites, all multiplexes will be within the analogue aerial group from switchover.
Channel changes at Cefn Mawr, LLangollen and Wrexham-Rhos mean that channelised aerial systems will need to be reconfigured at DSO1 and DSO2.
Channel changes at Moel y Parc mean that channelised aerial systems will need to be reconfigured at the later technical event on 2nd December 2009.
Households with supplementary antennas directed at Bagillt, Fflint or Holywell analogue2- channel relays can remove them from DSO2 as these transmitters are replaced by Storeton (Wales) and have now closed.
A household in north east Wales is most likely to be watching the Moel y Parc transmitter group. However, they could also be watching the Winter Hill, Long Mountain, Llanddona, Sutton Coldfield or The Wrekin transmitter groups.
