Lark Stoke retune - 28 September 2011
Lark Stoke transmitter – retune required on or after 28 September 2011
On 28 September 2011 the three commercial multiplexes from the Lark Stoke transmitter are changing broadcast frequencies and increasing in power. To continue to receive these services, all DTT viewers will need to retune on or after completion of the work, scheduled to be finished by 12pm.
Additionally, the SDN mux is changing transmission mode from 2K COFDM to 8K COFDM.
- SDN will change frequency from Ch31 to Ch41+.
- Arqiva A will move from Ch57 to Ch44.
- Arqiva B will move from Ch60 to Ch47.
Freeview TVs, Freeview boxes and recorders will need to be retuned. BT Vision and Top Up TV boxes (which use the Freeview signal) will also need retuning.
Viewers should perform a full retune (sometimes called “Factory settings”, “Default settings” or “Shipping conditions”) rather than “Add channels”.
Analogue TVs, satellite and cable services do not need to be retuned.
Note: Switchover at this transmitter group completed in April 2011.
