Derby, Stanton Moor and Belper retune
Retune required on or after 05 October 2011
On 5 October 2011 some of the multiplexes from the Derby, Stanton Moor and Belper transmitters in the Waltham transmitter group are changing broadcast frequencies. To continue to receive these services, all DTT viewers will need to retune on or after completion of the work, scheduled to be finished by 9am.
Additionally, the BBC B mux is launching at Derby.
At the Derby transmitter:
- D3&4 will change frequency from Ch30- to Ch51-.
- BBC B launches on Ch52.
At the Stanton Moor and Belper transmitters:
- BBC B will change frequency from Ch65 to Ch55.
Freeview TVs, Freeview boxes and recorders will need to be retuned. BT Vision and Top Up TV boxes (which use the Freeview signal) will also need retuning.
Viewers should perform a full retune (sometimes called “Factory settings”, “Default settings” or “Shipping conditions”) rather than “Add channels”.
Analogue TVs, satellite and cable services do not need to be retuned.
Note: Switchover at these transmitters completed in August 2011.
