There are lots of events organised nationwide to help you and your customers prepare for switchover.
Specially designed for registered retailers and installers, a regional briefing is held six months in advance of switchover. This draws on the experience of switchover areas to date, recommending necessary preparations for a retailer, highlighting detail that is new for many attendees and providing an opportunity to discuss any issues with Digital UK and other retailers. Registered retailers can access copies of the presentations here.
Providing independent information and advice to the public, the Digital UK Roadshow tours the nation to help increase awareness and understanding. If it visits your town, you can expect an increase in customer footfall.

The combination of a limited number of channel frequencies and a large number of transmitters in small geographical areas, results in times during the switchover process when additional retunes for people watching Freeview, Top Up TV or BT Vision will be required to keep all available services.
A full list of retune dates for 2012 can be seen here.
