Management Codes of Practice

The Secretary of State has approved three Management Codes. Landlords and managing agents are expected to comply with codes.
Two of these codes are related to service charges and both emphasise the importance of consultation when introducing new services, modifying existing ones and undertaking major works. They are:
- Private Retirement Housing - Code of Practice - published by the Association of Retirement Housing Managers (February 2006) - http://www.arhm.org/home.php; and
