Welcome to our industry support area. This is dedicated to manufacturers, retailers, digital installers, landlords and housing associations, with the latest information and resources to help you and your customers prepare for the digital TV switchover.
Digital switchover is the biggest change to UK broadcasting since the introduction of colour TV, way back in 1967. Every household in the country will have to adapt or upgrade all their televisions to receive digital TV by 2012.
This is a big challenge for the entire industry, but one that offers great opportunities. More than 70% of UK households already have digital TV on at least one TV set. However, there are still an estimated 40 million TV sets that will need adapting or upgrading to digital.
Digital switchover logos

Since May 2006, Digital UK has encouraged shoppers to look out for the 'digital tick' logo. It certifies products and services that are designed to work through digital switchover.
The “get set for digital” logo will be used by promotional partners, retailers and suppliers who stock certified products and have information resources at hand.

For more details visit the 'digital tick' logo website.
