The Granada TV region will become one of the first regions in the UK to switch over from analogue to digital TV in 2009.
When switchover will take place in Granada
The Winter Hill transmitter area, serving the entire Granada region and its dependent relays will all be converted between October and December 2009.
We will let you know the exact date nearer to your switchover and will send you further information well in advance to help you get ready for switchover.
If you live on the edge of the core TV region (shown in dotted shading on the map) you may be part of an adjacent region's switchover. This map is indicative because broadcast signals do not have precise boundaries.
