What is Wrights Radio Relay?
Wrights Radio Relay is a cable television service, that provides television channels in both analogue and digital formats. The service is only available to people in Newtown, Powys.
How much does it cost?
An annual subscription to the Wrights Radio Relay television service costs £41 a year paid in advance.
What equipment do I need?
You will need either a freeview set top box or a television set with freeview built in. You will also need a “converter box” that Wrights Radio Relay can supply for either £35 exchange if you already have a converter for its analogue service or for £55 outright.
How is Wrights Radio Relay installed?
The service is installed by a Wrights Radio Relay engineer who will also make sure the equipment is setup correctly, and that you understand how to use it. If you need to run multiple television sets, there may be additional setup costs please call 01686 626635 for further details.
How many channels will I get?
The Wrights Radio Relay service gives viewers the same channel line up as Freeview, in an area where it is currently unavailable, after the digital switchover in the area it will continue to provide a wider choice of channels that will be available from the local Freeview service.
