Freesat from Sky is digital TV through a satellite dish and digital box.
To get Freesat from Sky there is a one-off payment of £150 including standard digital box, dish (if required) and standard installation. There is no subscription cost.

With Freesat from Sky you get more than 230 digital TV channels including entertainment, movies and music.
Freesat from Sky does not offer an HDTV service
Parental controls – restricting access to certain channels completely or after 8pm. Interactive services – play games, send and receive text messages and email, place a bet or shop (some services may require a connection to a phone line. Call charges may apply). Easy upgrade to a Sky TV service.
Lines open 8.30am – 11pm 7 days a week. Calls cost up to 8 pence per minute for BT customers. Charges from other providers may vary.
Channels: BBC channels available as part of your licence fee. Freesat from Sky includes: Sky box, minidish, initial viewing card and standard installation. Viewers can access those channels available on the digital satellite platform from time to time. Sky cannot guarantee the availability or content of such channels. Most channels available without a viewing card. Sky selects your equipment.
Installation: Non-standard installation costs extra. You must get any consents required (e.g. landlords).
Viewing card: For residential use in the UK, Channel islands and Isle of Man only. Replacement cards supplied free of charge for 5 years, otherwise charges apply. General: You must be 18 or over. Further terms apply.
